Five Cities from Serbia Selected for the Transfer of Good Practices Within the URBACT Programme
At the meeting of the URBACT Monitoring Committee held in Copenhagen on 8 October 2025, 25 Transfer Networks of Good Practices were approved. The Call for Transfer Networks of Good Practices was open from 1 April to 30 June 2025.
The URBACT Transfer Networks of Good Practices consist of 6–8 partner cities, with one URBACT Good Practice City acting as the lead partner. The themes of URBACT good practices to be transferred range from climate action, gender equality, mobility, and public procurement, to local development and participatory governance. The Transfer Networks of Good Practices will start operating on 1 November 2025, with the transfer process expected to conclude by 30 April 2028.
The twenty-five Transfer Network of Good Practices bring together 181 partners from 28 countries, 90% of which are partners from small and medium-sized cities. Among the 181 partners in the new networks, 116 (64%) are new to the URBACT programme. In terms of geographical distribution, the largest number of partners come from Portugal and Italy (19 each), followed by Spain (17), and Greece and Ukraine (14 each).
