DFF3 awards 14 grants through Public Call to strengthen social cohesion, peacebuilding, and trust
Within the framework of the United Nations joint initiative “Dialogue for the Future 3 (DFF3)”, funded by the United Nations Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund (PBF), the results of the Public Call launched on 30 March 2026 have been announced.
Following a comprehensive evaluation process with a strong pool of applications, 14 local initiatives have been selected for financial support, with a total value of BAM 247,411.31. The selected projects will contribute to strengthening social cohesion, enhancing dialogue, and building trust within communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a focus on inclusive and locally driven action.
Applications were assessed by an Evaluation Committee in line with clearly defined eligibility and quality criteria set out in the Guidelines for Applicants. The selected initiatives stand out for their relevance, quality of approach, innovation, and potential for long-term positive impact in local communities.
The projects will be implemented across multiple municipalities and cities, with active engagement of local partners involved through the DFF3 network. Particular emphasis is placed on partnerships between civil society organizations, educational and cultural institutions, as well as cross-sectoral cooperation that strengthens local ownership and leadership in peacebuilding.
