Podravka approved EU funds for production modernization, project worth over a million euros

 

Podravka has been granted European Union funds for a project to modernize production at the Meat Products Factory. The project includes the purchase of two modern production lines: a line for filling ready meals into pouches, intended for the gastro and retail markets, and a meat filling machine with increased capacity, reports Podravski list. The total value of the project is EUR 1,292,123.00, of which the European Union is co-financing 50 percent, or EUR 646,061.50.

 

In addition to the technological upgrade, the project also includes construction works on the reconstruction of the existing space, ensuring adequate infrastructure for the accommodation and operation of the new lines. The aim of the investment is to automate and optimize the production of ready-made meals in bags, increase the capacity of filling cold cuts, and create the prerequisites for the future upgrade of the line for filling simple ready-made meals.
