BeeEffect Programme Successfully Concludes, Welcoming a New Generation into the EFB Community

The fourth edition of the BeeEffect Programme, implemented by the European Fund for the Balkans (EFB), has officially concluded with a closing event held in Malta from 13–15 March 2026, marking the final stage of a journey that began with its launch in Tirana in September 2025.

The programme brought together 12 selected participants and six experienced beeEFB alumni mentors, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and project development across the Western Balkans. Over the course of several months, participants engaged in mentorship sessions, learning exchanges, and capacity-building activities, culminating in a final pitching session where they presented innovative projects aimed at creating positive impact in their communities.

Following the final presentations, one team was selected as the winning team and will receive continued support from EFB to further develop their project. In addition, this year, with the aim of further integrating alumni-driven initiatives into the broader scope of EFB’s work, selected projects developed within the programme will also receive tailored support to continue their implementation, encouraging sustained engagement and long-term impact across the network.

The closing event also featured an Evaluation Workshop, gathering alumni to reflect on the programme, exchange feedback, and contribute to shaping the future of the beeEFB Alumni Network. For mentors, the programme represented a full-circle moment, supporting the next generation while reinforcing the strength of the EFB community.

With the conclusion of the programme, all participants officially transition into the EFB community, gaining access to a dynamic network that offers professional opportunities, collaboration platforms, and long-term career support.

The BeeEffect Programme continues to serve as a space where young leaders from the region can connect, grow, and drive meaningful change.
